Running Strength Basics

The only equipment you'll need for these workouts is a space to exercise, a bench or chair, and some dumbbells if the exercises feel too easy with just your bodyweight.

Each workout is designed to be the "minimum necessary" for runners who are logging a lot of miles. These workouts should take less than 30 mins to complete.

Each workout contains the following:

  • A compound exercise

  • A hip and calf exercise

  • 2 jumping or hopping movements
